Find what user created a folder or file

Is there an easy way to find who created a folder or file on my Windows

Server 2003 server?

I checked the owner of the folder, but it listed the administrators group as

the owner.

Thanks.

That's because an admin did it. Do your administrators all use the

Administrator account or do they have separate accounts under their own name

that are in the domain admin group? If all use the Administrator account,

there is no way to tell. If they have their own account, enable Audito

Object Access for files and printers for success and failure on each file

server. Read this article to see how to:
