Guest Tamarin Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 I'm running server 2k3 ent x64, 8gig ram. After installing just the OS off the CD, the system is fine. But once I start patching or install the chipset drivers, the system starts bluescreening on an almost clockwork basis. I tried installing hotfix 929161 as it was the only disk.sys related fix I could find. Still no luck. OCA just says driver issue, and doesn't give any specific ideas. Does anyone have any ideas?
Guest Pete Posted May 2, 2008 Posted May 2, 2008 RE: disk.sys stop 0x00000050 page fault I have the same exact problem. I haven't tried the hotfix you mention. System seems to run for a few hours, then bang. other times, it fails right away. I have run memory diagnostics from Dell as well as memtest to no avail. I am getting the same "PAGE_FAULT_IN_NON_PAGED_AREA". "Tamarin" wrote: > I'm running server 2k3 ent x64, 8gig ram. After installing just the OS off > the CD, the system is fine.
