Windows Server 2008 Beta

I know there is a full version of Windows Server 2008 has been released, but

I have Windows Server 2008 Beta on a DVD. Will I still be able to install it?

Or is it going to ask me for activation, at which point it might refuse to

get activated since Beta testing period is over.

Why not download the evaluation copy of Windows Server 2008 rather than use

a beta build?
