Guest Trying2Learn Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 I know there is a full version of Windows Server 2008 has been released, but I have Windows Server 2008 Beta on a DVD. Will I still be able to install it? Or is it going to ask me for activation, at which point it might refuse to get activated since Beta testing period is over.
Guest Darrell Gorter[MSFT] Posted March 8, 2008 Posted March 8, 2008 RE: Windows Server 2008 Beta Hello, Why not download the evaluation copy of Windows Server 2008 rather than use a beta build? http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/evalcenter/cc137123.aspx Thanks, Darrell Gorter[MSFT] This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights -------------------- |> Thread-Topic: Windows Server 2008 Beta |> thread-index: AciAqBbUIdPmC3xFRe+1sSrH1HyaiQ== |> X-WBNR-Posting-Host: 207.46.19.168 |> From: =?Utf-8?B?VHJ5aW5nMkxlYXJu?= <Trying2Learn@discussions.microsoft.com> |> Subject: Windows Server 2008 Beta |> Date: Fri, 7 Mar 2008 15:08:00 -0800 |> Lines: 4 |> Message-ID: <F34F3F53-9A10-47B4-B732-5F28BCCF3215@microsoft.com> |> MIME-Version: 1.0 |> Content-Type: text/plain; |> charset="Utf-8" |> Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit |> X-Newsreader: Microsoft CDO for Windows 2000 |> Content-Class: urn:content-classes:message |> Importance: normal |> Priority: normal |> X-MimeOLE: Produced By Microsoft MimeOLE V6.00.3790.2992 |> Newsgroups: microsoft.public.windows.server.general |> Path: TK2MSFTNGHUB02.phx.gbl |> Xref: TK2MSFTNGHUB02.phx.gbl microsoft.public.windows.server.general:33906 |> NNTP-Posting-Host: tk2msftsbfm01.phx.gbl 10.40.244.148 |> X-Tomcat-NG: microsoft.public.windows.server.general |> |> I know there is a full version of Windows Server 2008 has been released, but |> I have Windows Server 2008 Beta on a DVD.
