when I try to open the fax console in WinXP, error message can't find

FXSCLNTR.DLL or FXCFGWZ.dll I have tried to open from my Windows disc but

still no luck. Any help?

Did it EVER work? Just curious.

 

Try uninstalling the fax service then reinstall it.

Have you installed the fax?

Open the Control Panel, select Add/Remove Programs, click Add/Remove Windows

Components in the left pane and see if Fax Services is checked. If not,

check it and follow the prompts.

And you'll need to have the XP CD handy.

after running my windows disc, finding that particular item and putting it

into a folder, the darn thing found it and opened the console; thanks to all

I'm not sure what you said there... but I think you said you

RE-INSTALLED the fax program, right?
