Guest AAH Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 I am finding it quite difficult to post here an error report created by WinMe by using the Print Screen key and saved in .bmp format in WinMe Paint utility. How can i solve this problem?
Guest Mart Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 Re: .BMP file Bitmap attachment? Tens of Mbytes? - Maybe just too big for your ISP to handle the upload. Try converting the .bmp to a .jpg, or better yet, try to describe the error report. Guest Mike M Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 Re: .BMP file Type the error perhaps? What problems are you having with PrintScreen and Paint? Is the problem with PrntScr or Paint? You might want to use Alt+PrntScr rather than PrntScr as this copies just the foremost window/error message rather than the entire screen. -- Mike Maltby mike.maltby@gmail.com AAH <aah@chakcomnet.net> wrote: > I am finding it quite difficult to post here an error > report created by WinMe by using the > Print Screen key and saved in .bmp format > in WinMe Paint utility. Guest AAH Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 Re: .BMP file Mike Mart When working on the desktop. Some error caused in the background and an error repots (attached) appears. when try to check - do not send - box. it does not always goes away. At a time it would lockup the system and only cure is to plug it out from the socket and then restart it. Unsaved work is lost..There is no problem with pain and or print screen key. How can i turn it off? Guest Mike M Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 Re: .BMP file Could be anything. Does it always happen when viewing the same site, or just when downloading via IE or what? Possibilities range from a compromised web site trying to infect your PC through malware on your PC to an IE add-in or browser help object that isn't as stable as one might want. The PC lock up might be due to your net connection having hung as a result of the crash. -- Mike Maltby mike.maltby@gmail.com AAH <aah@chakcomnet.net> wrote: > Mike > Mart > > When working on the desktop. Some error caused in > the background and an error repots (attached) appears. > when try to check - do not send - box. it does not always > goes away. Guest AAH Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 Re: .BMP file Mike I suspected this site -burn4free- has some funny behavior.although i have never had any serious problem. but sometimes something is so fast that stuckup is inevitable. Thanks Mikes for your help. "Mike M" <No_Spam@Corned_Beef.Only> wrote in message news:#U2O5qhgIHA.4712@TK2MSFTNGP04.phx.gbl... > Could be anything. Guest Mike M Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 Re: .BMP file Sorry I can't be of more help. I'll take a cruise round the burnfree site later and see what I can find/pick up. I'm just settling down to watch TV for a while so it won't be until later tonight. -- Mike Maltby mike.maltby@gmail.com AAH <aah@chakcomnet.net> wrote: > Mike > I suspected this site -burn4free- has some funny > behavior.although i have never had any serious > problem. but sometimes something is so fast that > stuckup is inevitable. > Thanks Mikes for your help.
Guest EndUser Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 Re: .BMP file "To see what data this error report contains, click here." You can see the cause of the problem in the first line of this error report.
