Problem with former dual monitor setup

I had a dual monitor setup but had to give up the second monitor to another

user.

I have a program that last displayed on the second monitor. Now when I try

to open it it won't display. I think it's thinking the second monitor is

still attached.

How to fix?

Right click on a blank area on the desktop. Click Properties. Click

settings. Click the big 2 in a box on the next window. Turn off the

checkmark in Extend my Windows....... then click OK.

Let us know if this helps.

LV...

Thanks for the tip... but I still can't get this particular program to

display in any mode other than maximized on my present screen.

If I click on the middle button in the upper right to show in less than full

screen mode I can see it wants to be on my ghost monitor. It just sort of

fades to the left... and disapears.

Re: Problem with former dual monitor setup

Go to the taskabar and right click on the icon for the program that's

off-screen. Choose "Move" and then USE THE KEYBOARD ARROW KEYS to move the

window onto the desktop.

"Why is this here?"

"I'm training it to like where it's put!"

Your program has been 'trained.' The program remembers where it was and

opens there.

Right-click on the program in the task bar. Select "move." Use the arrow

keys (or mouse) to move the program's window back to the main monitor.
