First - Hi Guys!!

I have a Tosh Equium L350-10S Laptop with a Mat****a UJ-850S Dvd-Rom using uSoft 5.1.2535.0 Driver

Problem:-

Since using a "ConvertXtoDVD" Video Editing/Burning program, the DVD drive won't bring up the graphics of a proprietary, (eg Norton) disc - just showing the files on the CD.

Any ideas as to what I can do to get back to normality?

Thanks

Hi PAK961.

I have no idea of how to troubleshoot this software. But since you say that's when the issue started you could try uninstalling it or do a System Restore to before you installed it and the trouble started.

VSO does have a few support options.

Hi, the only thing I can add, is that Toshiba gave all the hardware drivers as backup on a separate disk for my Equium, so if you have that disk, I suggest a total uninstall of the disk drive, Windows should then present it with its own generic drivers, which should then be enough to reinstall everything else from the disk.

Nev.
