Guest Wabos Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 Wierd problem. Had a power failure, after which one on the workstations gets the message "Cannot connect to the domain, either because the domain controller is down or otherwise unavailable, or because the computer account was not found". Have rebooted server, router, hubs, etc with no success. Obviously no settings were changed and the computer in question is still listed in the domain so not sure where to look. The computer can access the internet so feel that the issue is not 'network' related but am at a loss. Thanks!

Guest Daniel Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 RE: Cannot connect to domain Wabos, Try taking the workstation computer out of the domain and then re-enter the domain after you reboot. You can put in WORKSTATION for Workgroup.
