I cannot get the Scan to Button on My HP All-in-one 3055 Laser Jet to work.

I can scan using the icons on the PC. However, wehn I try and setup a

destination to enable the Scan to feature to allow easy scanning using the

Scan To button, I recieve an eair message saying failure - device not found.

When I press the Scan to button, the scanner says I have the HP All in one

conected via network cable and I can print/copy/scan with no issues. I have

the HP toolbox feature setup and all is working well. Ihave a HP Laserjet

connected via a USB port.

I called HP and they were no help. I checked firewall settings and all HP

programs are "permit always".

Any ideas?

Have you tried System Restore?

Is your scanner connected to USB on the mohterboard? If so, try

switching to dedicated card or USB HUB. I had the same issue, and for

what ever reason that fixed it.
