My IEE1394 devices (video camera and external storage) stopped working a few

days ago. They had been working for a year+. After saving a powerpoint

file, a box from Microsoft was displayed that indicated if I disable

"BlackIce" then performance problems would go away ... what really happened

is that it disabled my IEEE1394 devices. How do a re-enable them?

RE: IEE1394 devices stopped working

I am no expert but I just Googled 'blackice' and there is much about it which

will at least inform you. It may also be possible to restore your system to a

time before BlackIce was disabled. If you are successful, please let me know.
