Guest Micah Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 I am running Server 2003 standard and my computers and some servers are changing the time to 1 hour more i.e. current time is 9:20am and most machines in the office change to 10:20am. The only way to get individual computers on the network to have the correct time is to uncheck the "Automatically adjust clock for daylight saving changes" and they roll back 1 hour to the correct time. My main PDC stays correct but my other (2) servers switch time. Does anyone know what I need to do to correct this issue. I spent all day yesterday trying to figure this one out. Thanks

Did you double check the time zone to make sure it was correct, and *then* change the time? Additionally, if you're using AD, your PDC emulator ought to be syncing to an external time service, and then your servers & clients should all be syncing to the PDC emulator.
Guest Micah Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 Re: DST time change All systems have been patched except my exchange server which I am doing now. I have set the external sync. Any other ideas? Try running the MBSA on your server -and do make sure all your servers & workstations got the update mentioned here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928388 > > "Lanwench [MVP - Exchange]" wrote: > >> Micah <Micah@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote: >>> I am running Server 2003 standard and my computers and some servers >>> are changing the time to 1 hour more i.e. current time is 9:20am >>> and most machines in the office change to 10:20am.
