hello,

I am familiar with virtualization software which uses guest OS files

that can be run within another OS. But is there any software which

allows to run a system which is installed on different partition?

let's say for example that there is multiboot environment. two primary

partitions both with windows XP instalations, xp-A and xp-B. while

working with xp-B one can run xp-A in special window using the software

in question.

are there any kind of such emulators?

I would greatly appreciate your help.

thank you,

gonzo

Sounds like you are describing VMWare's use of a physical (raw) disk.

As Neo suggests "Virtual Machines" provide this type of

facility. You can download Microsoft's Virtual PC from here:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtualpc/default.mspx
