xp pro problem

i have installed xp pro on my pc but it has gave a new hard drive icon f drive but the c drive is still there but the memory icon has came up saying that there not enough memory can i delete the windows xp home or can i get back to just having one drive ie the c drive thanks

Hello there.

 

It appears you may of installed windows on F drive by mistake.

 

You could reinstall windows and delete F while you are there.

 

F is possibly the small amount of free hard drive space that is left free from manufacturers or it was possible it was your recovery console.

i will give it a try thanks for your help can i delete the os xp home as well when i install xp pro thanks

Pop in the XP install disk you wish to have on your PC.

 

While there delete both partitions this will wipe out both operating systems,then create another partition and install as you usaly would.
