Smartcard is not visible via RDP connection

Recommended Posts

After connect to a remote computer via RDP, I'm not able to see the

smart card which is plugged into the remote machine but, if l enable

smart-cards in local devices dialog, I can see the one that is plugged

in my local computer.

Is there any configuration that can be done to get access to the

remote smart-card from the RDP session?.

Regards.

The smart card plugged into a reader on the remote system doesn't really

belong to you to access. Who is going to give the PIN code? Does it belong

to someone who is logged in?

What you are asking sounds kind of odd to me! Maybe I am confused about

which computer is remote.

The device is an USB smart card, not a smart card inserted in a card

reader. This smart card is not for authentification but for licensing

purposes.
