Lone_wolf_S117 Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 I want to bet 2 more GB or ram for my pc (this brings my ram up to 3 GB) But i have been hearing things like vista will slow down because of it. Is there a way to fix this or is it in the RAM? Quote

RandyL Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 As danzil said if you use the correct "type" of memory for your computer it will improve your performance. If you install the wrong type then performance may decrease depending on your setup. Go to crucial.com to see what you need. Just don't bother going over 4GB on 32 bit versions of Vista. 4 is the limit. On Vista Home Premium Microsoft reccomends a minimum of 1 GB. I always figure double what Microsoft says for a minimum. So if Home Premium is your version by all means add more RAM. I would even add more if it was Vista Basic; RandyL Quote We are all members helping other members.
