Packard Bell Laptop Windows 7...Why won't the touch sensitive icons work?

I might have locked the icons some how, i'm not really sure though. They were working fine before now, but for some reason when i tap them now they light up, but don't actually do anything. They're still touch sensitive, just not working for me...

This is only the case with my volume icons, the mouse lock icon works fine.

I don't know what i've done now, and this laptop is relatively new. I've probably done something without realising it. Help would be greatly appreciated! :o

Hey Steph,gosh a new system to what I am used to.

 

Ok a simple fix would be a system restore.

 

Click start/all programms/accessories/system tools/system restore.

 

Open system restore and dont worry it looks a little frightening but honestly it is easy.

 

Choose restore your computer to a diffrent time and date.

 

Choose a date to just before this issue occured.

 

Follow the instructions on screen.

 

The machine will reboot during the process so do not worry.
