What I want to do is that I want to create a few Administrator accounts with different user name and rigth, also I want know if some thing will be wrong, then I know which amdinistrator does it. Currently, I just has only one Domain Administrator account, all of administrators are using the same account to do Admin Tasks. Thanks a lot.
Guest Meinolf Weber Posted March 13, 2008 Posted March 13, 2008 Re: Admin users Hello qq, Create a new user account and add them to the group Domain admins, that's all. But be sure that they know what they are doing. Guest qq Posted March 13, 2008 Posted March 13, 2008 Re: Admin users Hi Meinolf, Thank you for your help. But I don't want to give all Admintrators same full rights to do every thing. I want to setup different levels for each Admins. For example, I want to setup an Administrator with full right, but another Administrator just has a limited right to manage certain a few users, computers or computer for a branch office user in another place. Would you please give some idea for sovle my issue? Thanks a lot. "Meinolf Weber" wrote: > Hello qq, > > Create a new user account and add them to the group Domain admins, that's > all. Guest Meinolf Weber Posted March 13, 2008 Posted March 13, 2008 Re: Admin users Hello qq, On the OU's where they should be responsible you can use the Delegate Control, rightclick the OU and choose it. A lot of options are possible, check them out. Then the people do not have to be admins. But if you make them member of an Administrator's group they are full admins.
