Guest geir Posted March 13, 2008 Posted March 13, 2008 Hi all. Using Win2003 server and NT Backup to backup disks to tape. Our problem is that the primary partition is getting full and the backup reports lack of space for the temp files. 1. Is there any way we can tell the backup to place those files on the D:\ disk. 2. Is there any easy/safe way to expand the partition? -- Thanks all Regards Geir

There are several products to manipulate a partition, e.g. Acronis DiskDirector. Make sure to back up ***and test*** your system partition before using such a product. It is very tempting to just go ahead and if it works then it is usually quite fast. However, if it fails (and sometimes it does) then there is hell to pay . . .
