Guest WayneWat Posted March 13, 2008 Posted March 13, 2008 Hello, I have setup an FTP Site using IIS6.0 and can access the site using IE7. I have disabled 'Allow anonymous connections' and added a user to allow FTP access to files. When I login to the FTP server via IE7 with the dedicated username I can see my files but if I right-click a file and 'Save Target As' I receive an error message 'Login request was denied'. However, if I open the file as normal it will open it up in a web browser. I believe I have my permissions setup right. Can anyone offer advice? Thanks Wayne -- MCP
Guest lforbes Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 RE: FTP problem Hi, If IE 7 is installed you need to access FTP through Windows Explorer. Just open up My Documents or My Computer and type the ftp into the path. "WayneWat" wrote: > Hello, > > I have setup an FTP Site using IIS6.0 and can access the site using IE7.
