Implementing an interface in another assembly.

Hello all.

 

I have a class library, which recieves messages from various sources.

 

I also have an exe which references the dll, and which has the capability to process these messages.

 

Basically, I need a way so that when a message is recieved by the dll, it is passed into the exe, processed, and the reply returned to the dll.

 

The exe already contains a function called HandleMessage which accepts and returns a string, I just need some help in figuring out how to wire up the dll to interoperate.

 

I thought about exposing an interface on the dll, and implementing it in the exe.

 

However, how would I tell the dll to invoke the method on the interface?
