When I run Symantec WinDoc I get a message that I am missing the followng file,

"CLSID\{1171A62F-05D2-11D1-83FC-00A0C9089C5A}\ in

C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash\Flash9d.ocx

Is there any way to get a patch to correct this problem?

You might want to go to this site and see if Flash is installed on our system

and working properly.

Adobe Flash Player

http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash&ogn=EN_US-gntray_dl_getflashplayer

Other than that, you might consider asking your question in a newsgroup

dedicated to Norton WinDoctor or Symantec in general.

Good luck

RE: Missing file message

A patch? NO!

However your issue seems to be a problem with Direct X, so just download the

newest macromedia flash player and you should be fine.

or talk to symantec about the missing file, it may be something they require

for windoc to run properly.

can you reinstall windoc?
