Just as well. Considering where it was sold it probably would have

failed Activation or Genuine Advantage tests.

This is a newsgroup whose respondents are volunteers who

are not employees of Microsoft. If you wish to discuss the

matter of your lost key then you need to ring your nearest

Microsoft office. If Windows is still installed on you machine

then you can probably extract the key with Keyfinder from

here: http://www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder.shtml.

Yeah, right, fishing around for an illegal product key for an illegal

copy of Windows. Go through the activation process during which you

can go to Microsoft to get a legal version sent to you.

If it was an OEM license, you should contact the computer's

If your system still running you can use special software to recover your Windows and Office key. Most of them support some versions of Windows and some other Microsoft products. Also there is a products like "Recover Keys" ( Recover Lost Product CD Keys for Microsoft Windows 2000, XP, 2003, Vista, Office, SQL, Exchange - CD-Key Retrieve ) that support all Windows and Office versions and 700+ of other major software packages.
