Licence problem continued

Hi all

 

I've got over the initial problem ... sort of

 

I used the Dell Server Install CD to load the OS and accidentally chose

PerUser licencing

 

Now I have reinstalled with Per Server The buttons are NOT greyed out to add

a new licences BUT when I click Add Licences is says it cannot find the

licence server ?

 

How does a user simply add some more licences to a standalone server ? Why

is there a need for a licence server ? what does it do in this context ?
