WS2008 Hyper-V RDP bug

Has anyone else seen this issue?

Client workstation - Vista 64

Server - Windows Server 2008 hosting virtual machines with Hyper-V

I RDP to the server from my workstation, I create a new virtual machine, it

starts to install the OS, I attempt to connect to it with the Hyper-V

manager, the Hyper-V manager displays the virtual workstation screen and I

can mouse into the display but I CANNOT control the mouse or keyboard. I

have to console to the server to actually control the virtual machine with

the Hyper-V manager.

thanks

The integration services supports 2008 and 2003 SP2. Hopefully the RTM

version will broaden support for guest OS.

That has always been a problem with virtual machines and RDP. There is a

posting on why it cannot work in Ben's blog.

If you are using an OS which doesn't yet have integration components you

will need to RDP directly to the virtual machine, not to the host.
