Hi everybody,

I have just installed exchange server 2007 (32 bit) on windows server 2003

(32 bit), running in a VMWare environment.

I have installed all the updates and service packs for exchange server 2007

and server 2003.

However, when I choose Server Management and I click on the User snap-in, I

get the following message:

MMC has detected an error in a snap-in. It is recommended that that you shut

down and restart MMC.

0 Report this error to Microsoft, and then shut down MMC.

0 Continue running and ignore errors with this snap-in for the rest of the

session.

0 Continue running and always ignore errors with this snap-in, regardless of

user or session.

If I choose the second option and want to add a User, I get again an error

in the 'add user wizard'. The visual studio just-in-time debugger informs

that an unhandled win32 exception occurred in addusr.exe [5336].

I tried to find info on the internet for solving the problem but I could not

find any solution.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Regards,

Ronny

Did you already have the MMC roll-up installed?
