I will be moving a remote office that as a DC in it (windows 2003), I wanted

to make sure if I bring the server down on Thursday night and then if

everything goes well, data line moved friday morning and then connection to

AD can be restored,

Any problems with this or is there a better way to do this ?

Thanks

Hello Stup88,

What will be changed? Only the location and everything else stay the same

or also the provider from the leased line? If you do not change your connection

settings, ip etc. it should be fine, i think. Just make sure that the router

or vpn connection to the main office is functional again.

Best regards

In addition, will your local network remain the same IP range? If not

you might want to check you sites & services and other DNS's.
