Guest Lise Posted March 15, 2008 Posted March 15, 2008 On my Windows Server 2003, I would like to choose which desktop shortcuts are available to users. I would like 99% of the users to have all the shortcuts that are in the All Users Desktop folder, but I would like to remove these shortcuts from just a few of the users' desktops. Can I do this based on their Group membership? Is there another way? Thanks for any assistance you can provide.
Guest lforbes Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 RE: Customize desktop shortcuts available to users Hi, You can delete the desktop shortcuts from the All Users and add them to users profiles. Or for the few users you can restrict in group policies access to common folders which will restrict those users access to the All Users.
