Desktop Display upside down

Recommended Posts

Posted

Hi,

I have been asked by a friend to fix a computer where the kids have

managed to turn the desktop upside down and reversed. The whole

desktop is reversed vertically and horizontally.

Does anyone know what key combination would have done this and how to

fix it.

I have plenty of computer experience but have never heard of this.

Apparently everything is the correct way up until the desktop appears

Thanks for any suggestions

Re: Desktop Display upside down

Start with Ctrl+Alt+Up arrow.

Play around with Ctrl+Alt+ other arrows if not.

You may also find the option in Control Panel-Display to rotate the

screen.

Try hitting the Ctrl + Alt + Up arrow keys at the same time.

If that doesn't work, right click on the desktop and select Properties from the

menu.

In Display Properties, click on the Setting tab.

In Settings, hit the Advanced button.

Check within the properties of the display adapter for a list of hotkeys. There

should be one combo that returns the display to normal.

Good luck
