Problem Description: Kodak is saying there is a conflict between it's CD and

your system. It downloads so far then stops and I get the above message.

There seems to be a download proble. I also got a message from Norton stating

it had blocked "Download" stating it wasa virus. The CD also states that

there is old Kodak info in the system that needs to be removed. In "Add or

Delete" (Control panel) there are two Kodak items but it shows they are

empty. I've tried to remove them, nothing happens other the the screen

"jumps" and they are still there, could they be the problem. If you want to

send down an expert to San Felipe, Baja California I'd be more then glad to

buy them all the fish tacos they can eat. Any help would be appreciated. I

have a new camera and it's just sitting here waiting to download my pictures.

Thank You, Cory Dudley coryiv@gmail.com Operating System: WindowsXP

If there are two Kodak Installation, it may be the Software installer is

corrupt or damaged, what happen when you click Remove option in the

Add/Remove programs?.

I don't understand what the Norton Virus Alert is about, is it because the

Memory card on the Camera containing a virus or false Alert/message from

Norton?, still shouldn't be ignored!, and you need to scan for malware and

viruses by doing these cleaning steps:

Go through these Cleaning steps:

1... Click start >> Control Panel >> Double Click Network and Internet

Connections >> Double click Internet Options, on the IE Properties window

you will see these Options:

General | Security | Privacy | Content | Connections | Programs

| Advanced .

Click on General Tab (1st Tab on the left) and you will see a Button called

[ Clear History ..] click on it to clear your History caches, then click on

[Delete Files..] to delete Internet Files created over the time, click on [

Delete Cookies...] to delete your cookies left by visiting websites.

= Then try to Disable the Add-Ons on your Browser somehow installed on your

browser, On how to disable the Add-ons follow this:

Click on Programs Tab and then click the Manage Add-Ons Button there Disable

the None/Not Verified Plug-ins/Add-ons ( you need to Renable them one-by-one

later and see which is the culprit .

Open a Notepad, customize or minimize to the taskbar as you will need it

later for this step to copy the error message on it.

Open a run command and type in:

eventvwr.msc click [OK] you will get the Event viewer control Panel.

click on each of these:

Look in the right Pane/window for error message with red (X) or Yellow

exclamation mark /!\ , double click each one to get more info about the
