For 30 days there is. After that, the trialware becomes useless and

you can't restore.

Cough up the bucks.

on the internet and dled some of the other software but my antivirus said it

was infected.

Right. The software won't work after 30 days unless it's paid for and

registered.

>Also i kinda wanna know if possible a step by step on how to do this

Buy some backup software (Acronis True Image is my recommendation) and

read the manual.

TrueImage is not subscription software. Once you buy it,

you can use it forever (or at least until one of its successors

has such tempting new features that you cannot resist

buying it . . .)

Once you buy the software, you don't have to pay for it again.

It isn't that complicated. Just follow the steps in the manual. And,

remember, no matter how many steps there are, you only execute them one at a

time.

Re: how to create a restore disk

Using True image to make a clone of your primary drive, requires you to have

a 2nd HD, at least my version does. it can either be external or internal, I

bought an external Sata/USB, I also perform weekly backups of data, to

compliment the clones.

It's kinda hard to make a clone if you have only ONE drive.

Not necessarily a second hard disk. A second ***partition***

will do (even though a second disk would be preferable,

especially a removable second disk).
