Warning Message HELP please

I have lost the picture on my desktop and a blue screen is in it's place with

this:

Warning: Spyware threat has been detected on your PC. And I keep getting

popup after popup...

 

What do I do and please...if possible, tell it in Computer Idiot terms as I

am not good at this. If I need to go into safe mode....I know they say to hit

the F8 key but how do I change it back. Stop laughing....I am serious.

It is suggested that you execute each tool in Normal Mode then in Safe Mode.
