hello :)

i am running 'Windows xp proffesional 2002 service pack 3'

i recently formatted my computer due to alot of system errors caused mainly by downloading.

however it has become very slow and lags when online.. i have noticed that there is no video or graphics card registered on the computer and was wondering why this is as there was one in ther before i formatted it and was working fine,, and if it was possible to find the make of the card without actually opening up the computer base so i would know what driver to install

any help would be very much appreciated... thanq'u :)

Hi and welcome to Extreme Tech Support - Free PC Help,

first thing we need to know, is there a separate graphics card installed, or is it the normal graphics as provided on the motherboard? do you know if there is a card, and therefore a plate with graphics related ports at the back. I am assuming this is a desktop machine, or is it a laptop, as you don't say.

If a laptop there is likely not a separate card.

Can you please tell us what make and model your computer is please as well,

thanks,

Nev.
