Guest Dave Harry Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 I have Server 2003 with CALs. If I aquire an additional licence of server 2008 but downgrade the installation to 2003, are my 2003 CALs valid for the downgraded server? -- Dave Harry

Guest Tiffany Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 Re: 2008 -> 2003 CAL downgrade I assume these are 2003 USER CALs. You do not need to upgrade to 2008 CALs until the users start connecting to a 2008 OS. I don't work for MS but I did stay at a Holiday in Express last night so the answer is Yes.
