Hi

We are running Server 2003 R2 an all company servers. We have three branch

offices and HQ, all connected through a MPLS. For some strange reason two of

the three branch servers aren't displayed under My network places\"Domain".

I can easily access the server by entering "\\ServerName" but not through My

network places.

Any idea to what might be wrong?

Re: My network places

You would need to run WINS. Are you doing that?

Re: My network places

Not just run WINS, but all machines in all sites need to register in the

same WINS database.

The computer browser service is still basically the same as it was under

NT. The standard troubleshooter is still KB188305
