Need to restore Dell to Factory Settings, no 'Repair' option at Boot Screen...

Ive done this before, and i remember it being pretty easy, this time i stuck the Dell Operating Sytstem CD in, re-installed Vista, couple of hours later, realised id messed up. Now im thinking i messed up badly, since i hit F8 and theres nothing in the Boot Options to repair or anything, whatever Vista was installed, is not good, my Wireless Card apprently doesnt exist, i can change so few settings... its a mess. I need to do what i originally wanted to do and restore to factory settings, and now it looks like i cant. Help!

Hi try ctrl + f11 as you boot it should launch dells revovery option then do a restore using the factory image

Nah, ctrl+f11 does nothing, also tried with f10 which takes to Boot Options... could i run the return to factory setting using cmd?

What's the service tag of the Dell. We could look it up to see what your recovery options are.

 

Look in Disk Management to see how many drives or partitions are listed. Maybe you deleted the recovery partition.
