Hi

I am running Win XP Pro SP3, 3GB RAM, Intel Core 2 duo CPU E8400 @ 3.00GHz.

I have a problem that has been getting progressively worse & is now extremely frustrating. A while ago I lost all desktop settings - I just have a blue screen & right clicking does nothing. Screen saver works fine & PC generally not too bad, but I find that I am unable to open some programmes together - e.g. I very often can't open a pdf when I have other programmes running - I very often end up shutting down pretty much everything else (I usually have TBird & FFox running, as well as KIS 2010 & various other background programmes). I definitely can no longer open a pdf with CorelDraw10 running.

It was suggested to me that it could be a memory problem. I ran Memtest 86 the other day & all OK. I am wondering if it is the C Drive & if I should get new one, load Win XP onto that & see how I go. I currently have all my documents on a WD Studio raid drive, so I would "only" have to re-install all my programmes...

Any help gratefully received
