jameswren Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 I have a football game called Championship Manager. It's a very old game, but I'm really good at cheating on it and its got the players I like! My challenge is this: Its an old game from 1994. It runs in a DOS window. But, when I start the game, the window takes over the whole screen. Is there a way I can open it up as a moveable and re-sizable window on my desktop? Please can someone talk to me like I'm five and explain the steps I need to take? I'm sure it's possible! Many thanks Quote
jameswren Posted March 22, 2010 Author Posted March 22, 2010 I've tried the ALT+enter, but that takes me back to my desktop but fails to re-size the DOS window... Quote
Goku Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 Hello James. Please try the following: Right-click on the game's icon. Select Properties. Switch to the Shortcut tab. In the Run: field, select the Normal option from the dropdown dialogue. Press the Apply button and then OK. Now try starting the game and see if it helps or not. Let me know if it helps or not. Good Luck. :) Oh, and by the way, are you by any chance using an HP computer? -- Goku Quote
jameswren Posted March 22, 2010 Author Posted March 22, 2010 Goku, I'll give it a go. Yes, I am on an HP, how on earth did you know??!! Curious! Quote

It opens the game as usual, when I do an ALT enter, there is a little MSDOS screen but it says inactive with a flashing cursor. Strange eh? Quote
