Modem Driver

I have given my old PC (which i always ran on external cable modem) to my

sister in law and she is trying to get it working on dialup modem

In the device manager XP recognises the modem but no driver installed - i

pulled it out to see if it had any branding so i can get her the driver on

disc - but it looks like some obscure generic modem

Anyone recognise this dialup modem?

Anyone recommend a WinXP generic driver i can use with it?

Cheers - but the link is broken - tried a few other but no joy there

either - it must be old

I found out that Medion (the maker of the machine) have some creatix modem

drivers here:

http://www1.medion.de/downloads/?op=search&lang=uk&type=TEXT&param=creatix

can you tell if any of those are the right ones - thanks

Real sorry about that , I did not check the link

but I'm pretty sure I've at least properly ID'ed the modem.

I am sure you can get the driver from http://www.driverguide.com

but unless you register (it's free) you will have to view about 7 ads first.

If you Google a bit you may find a better place to download the drivers

I've downloaded 4 of the modem drivers on Medion (who made the machine)

http://www1.medion.de/downloads/?op=search&lang=uk&type=TEXT&param=creatix

I just noticed one of them says 'V90'

Modem Driver Creatix Combo PCI Modem HaM "V.90" - Win 2000/Win 98/Win

98SE/Win ME/Win XP -15.07.2003 - Version: 4.38

so i think that's the one - thanks for the help
