Guest philo Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Just as a matter of curiosity, it was not easy...but I managed to get a few screen captures of Win98 during the installation process. I have always been interested in the mechanism behind the scenes. It appears I got the device enumeration process. http://www.plazaearth.com/philo/win1.jpg http://www.plazaearth.com/philo/win4.jpg If anyone has a way to get a screen capture of XP during the installation itself, I'd be interested.

Note, however that the Win98 installation I have captured is a look from either windows explorer or file manager and is not a simple screen shot of the installation itself. It's a 'behind the scenes' view not normally possible to look at.
