I just reinstalled XP and now have these 2 down arrows which I need to click

to show all my favorites. This is just like the custom/option in excel and

word to always show full menus.

How to I show full menus in my start menu - favorites?

RE: Start - favorites - (showing partial folders & 2 down arrows)

Hi,

I am sure there's an option in Windows to show full menus all the time but,

at this point, am not able to recollect it.

Can you do the following:

Right click on 'Start' and select 'Properties'

On the Start Menu tab, click the 'Customize' button

On the ensuing window, go through the options and see if any of that relates

to showing menus. If you find any, change the setting (check/uncheck) and see

your favourites menu again.

I believe there should be check box for displaying 'Personalized menus' and

you may have to uncheck it to show the full menu.

Hope this helps.

IE-Tools-Internet Options-Advanced

The option is "Enable Personalized Favorites Menu"
