Cant read BIOS menu - Vista Home Premium

Hi All,

 

When i boot my PC (im using my laptop atm) the XFX image that is displayed is very grainy. When the BIOS normal text comes up it is all jargon and when i press DEL to enter bios setup it is also jargon, I cannot read any of it.

 

My pc specs are:

 

Motherboard: XFX nForce® 790i Ultra

CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.83GHz

Harddrive: Samsunug HD103UJ 1TB.

GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 275

assuming that the POST is OK, I would reset the CMOS First, however if there is a problem with the POST can you tell us the error codes please?
