I just got this error this morning after a restarted of a Windows 2003

server

"The Logon User Interface DLL gina32.dll failed

to load. Conatact your system administrator to replace the DLL, or restore

the original DLL" has anybody else seen this and is there a solution?

Re: The Logon User Interface DLL gina32.dll failed

sounds like you have a custom or 3rd party gina installed. you can restore

the original by starting the server in safe mode. once you reach the

desktop, open regedit and navigate to:

hklm\software\microsoft\windows nt\currentversion\winlogon

in the right hand pane, delete the "gina" value and reboot.

/neo

ps - microsoft's gina is msgina.dll

Re: The Logon User Interface DLL gina32.dll failed

We had that exact same problem. The software that was uninstalled was;

BindView Password Self Service

After uninstalling that and rebooting, we got the exact same message.

Use the fix that neo suggested.
