Hi,

So I recently bought the ixtreme x5620UK by Packard Bell and hooked it up to my 19" HD LCD TV (Mikomi) via HDMI.

The problem is this; the screen will not display a clear, HD image at anything above 720p. Now I know this TV can because I have used a Blu Ray player (over HDMI) and an xbox 360 on this all at 1080 (either i or p I cant remember). Currently the resolution is at 720p 1222 x 680, as I had to resize the screen though the nVidia control panel. The graphics card is the 7100/630i integrated model. Not great but still.

I've been in contact with 'experts' at the local computer shop who confirm the graphics card can output at a higher resolution and that the TV is capable of 1440 x 900. The main problem is that selecting a higher resolution ruins the image quality at the refresh rate drops to 30hz max, despite the tv being able to run at 50hz (the current resolution is)

I've looked around, downloaded the latest drivers and tried everything I can think of to solve this, but clearly haven't.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Most graphics are best at 60HZ, is it possible to shift the TV up to 60HZ or is it fixed at 50HZ?

Nev.
