Guest Mario P. Neto Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 Good Morning, I have a special server that i cannot backup the entire system state. I received the error: you do not have permission to access portions of system state\registry\software. How can i find what folder the permission is missing. Thank you Mario

To do this, In REGEDIT, right click on SOFTWARE and select PERMISSIONS.... Next, click Advanced, and make sure that "Replace all existing Inheritance..." is selected. Ensure that SYSTEM has Full Control permission. Click OK. Hope this helps. -- Jabez Gan Microsoft MVP: Windows Server http://www.msblog.org "Mario P.
