moving TS license server to another DC

[Guest Eric32]

Can someone tell me what's involved with moving TS licenses to another

license server. We're getting ready to decommission one of our DC's which is

currently acting as the TS License Server.

You can follow following steps,

1. Call Microsoft Clearinghouse, ask them you are planning to upgrade\move

your TSLS server; they will reissue you licenses; Make sure you have all

paper work related to purchase of licenses

2. Decommission the machine

3. Install TSLS on new machine ; Activate the License Server; Install Cals

using new keys Clearing house provided you;

4. Make sure your TS (Terminal Servers) are able to discovery new TSLS

(License Server)
