Price of Visual Studio 2008 in CANADA

Why is Visual Studio 2008 Pro, sold 30% higher in Canada than US?

 

Example: Amazon CDN$ 1,021.99 vs* US$ 737.49

 

This is 38% higher!*for exactly the same box and shipping is not included.

 

Today's change is* 1 $US = .9938 $CAN and it was 1 to 1.2 a few weeks ago, so it should be cheaper in CAN$ than US$

In addition*most Software resellers refuse now to sell to Canadians customer*(check Amazon's 'Product Details' in US page) forcing us to buy their bloated "Canadian" price version.

 

As a software developper who bought thousands of dollars of Microsoft products, I can tell you that I am not happy.
