Network File Sharing: Access is Denied

when using another computer (Vista or XP) I can't access my shared folders,

the only one that seems to work is Shared Docs.

 

It was working perfectly the other day, I have changed ABSOLUTELY nothing

and now I keep getting this message. Please Help/

Is the firewall on the machine where the shares folders are?

 

Are you on XP Home or Pro

 

Are they mapped drives?

 

Need more info, please

It's XP Media Center; the windows firewall is turned off and I don't have

another firewall in place of it.

 

No, the drives are not mapped.

I tried a system restore already but surprisingly that did not fix my problem.

OMG! I fixed it.

Somehow the "Simple File Sharing" (in folder options) check box had been

unchecked.

I'm so glad I figured this out as I use SFS everyday.
