zerazor Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 Hello, i recently downloaded a program called Screen Pass 6 it was a bad program so i deleted it and restarted PC But after that just after the windows screen and error comes up saying. "The logon user interface spassnt.exe was unable to load" and then it says restart i restart it but the same thing just comes up. i am desperate for help because im not that experienced to understand what you have to do Quote

Did you uninstall it by using add/remove in the Control Panel? In the mean time can you boot into safemode by tapping F8 while you start the computer? Quote We are all members helping other members. muppet rebecca Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 When you go into safe mode without network do the following Click start > run > regedit then ctrl + f....in the find box type screen pass 6 and delete all entries that it finds. Quote
RandyL Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 The easiest way might be to just do a System Restore from safemode. Keep in mind that if you restore from safemode the restore can not be undone. Tootech Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 Tricky one I'd say. Have you tried 'Last Known Good Configuration' from the Advanced startup options? Next idea Do you still have the original download for the program? If so, try reinstalling it from Safe Mode and then restarting your PC. Hopefully that will repair the damage it has done. If that works, uninstall it again and see what happens. I also found a bit of useful info on the Screenpass website - I'll post it so everyone can see it as I think its worth having a look at it further.
