I was chatting to a friend the other day, who is really excited about getting into iPhone development (though less than happy that he may have to buy a Mac to do it.)

 

I still think that charging developers 30% of their sales is positively vampiric, but he reckons that Apple is being quite generous.

 

How in the hell has the mobile app distribution channel become so screwed up?
