Virtual Server 2005 R2 hang

When rename computer with Virtual Server 2005 R2 SP1 and restart it virtual

machines going to saved state by default. When server starts virtual machines

is in saved state, but when I try start it Virtual Server stops to respond.

This problem apperars on many servers.

OS version is Windows Server 2003 R2 SE SP2.

There's exists fix for this problem?

How are you building the guest machines initially. Is it a base install or

did you do a copy? If a copy you need to make sure you did a sid walk of

some kind.

Guest machines installed thru copy syspreped vhd file.

How guest machine can affect on VS so it stop response?

Duplicate sids, I'm just stating weird things can happen if you don't prep

properly. You didn't provide any details on the initial build so I was

trying to think of anything that might be causing you problems.

 

Only other thing I can think of is if you can't running an AV and you are

some how infected with a virus. Without any error messages, event log

details there isn't much to go on.
